UPDATE from BirchPlace on the affiliate payment situation

16th November 2010

With the demise of ePassporte, we are now issuing our own eBlue VISA debit cards to you in November 2010!

Our new eBlue VISA debit card provides a very easy way for you to quickly and easily obtain money owed to you, by allowing you to take out your earnings in cash at any local ATM machine in your local currency!

We have now received our first 500 VISA cards, and are just finishing our software to keep track of these new cards.

All PayPerView and Shop affiliates with earnings due of $25 or more will receive a card 100% FREE OF CHARGE!

We will be contacting you shortly to confirm your current name and address and some other ID info so we can issue you your eBlue VISA debit card and pay you!

Thank you for your continued patience and support!

The situation of ePassporte.com

As many of you are already aware, ePassporte.com announced that they have closed operations, affecting approximately 100,000+ of their customers. We used to use ePassporte to pay affiliates and partners.

Meanwhile, all pending commissions due to you are not lost and will be paid. Your ePassporte VISA cards and Virtual Visa balances are operational again from October 8th 2010, according to a statement from ePassporte's bank - bank statement here.

We have now launched our own ATM card for you, which will give us a direct method of transferring owed commission to you! Faster! More reliable! Improved customer service (as you deal with us directly and not a third party with queries). Existing ePassporte account holders who are affiliates of us, who had an ePassporte account us, will receive a new one for free on request (after you have re-confirmed your ID and postal address with us).

Due to increasingly stringent worldwide banking regulations against terrorism, money laundering and other things, banks are becoming very strict on needing correct and valid ID of any bank card holder before cards are issued.  We are not sure if this was the reason ePassporte are having problems, but it was the prime suspect.

If you have more questions about your ePassporte account itself, please contact them directly. We know no more that you do at this time. No one has lost any commission payment due to you (from us at BirchPlace owed to you).

Our apologies for this problem which is out of our hands at present, and is effecting hundreds of thousands of ePassporte users worldwide.
